These seals are currently being cared for at the Sealcentre. You can support them by donating a portion of fish. Did you know that a seal eats an average of 5 kilos of fish a day? With your donation, the seals can regain strength to return to the Wadden Sea.

Hello Vaya! On March 16, Vaya was found very weak on the beach and after observation it was determined that rehabilitation was needed for her. Her name means 'Strong' and 'Healthy'. Very appropriate, because we are working hard to bring her back to the Wadden Sea strong and healthy. Will you help us?

Rehabilitated because: Lungworm infection and injured eye
This is Weye! She was taken in with us on March 8. She had a lungworm infection and an injured eye. Weye's eye turned out to be so seriously damaged that we had to remove it surgically. The operation went well and she is now recovering in Pieterburen. Will you help with Weye's recovery?

Rehabilitated because: Weakened
Hello Keep! This grey seal was taken in with us on 2 February. Keep was observed by a seal guard but his condition deteriorated rapidly. Now he is recovering in Pieterburen. Keep is named after the bird species. The bird keep winters in the Netherlands and can be recognised by its orange breast and wing markings. Will you help seal Keep recover?

Rehabilitated because: Orphaned
This is Foxy! This grey seal pup was taken in with us on 3 February. Foxy was alone on the beach in Noord Holland and was chased into the water. 10 kilometres away, she was seen alone again. As she could not yet take good care of herself, we took Foxy in at Pieterburen. Will you help with her recovery?
