Have you always wanted to work at Sealcentre Pieterburen? This is your chance! We're looking for an intern or volunteer who will join our colleagues in the visitor centre. The visitor centre plays a crucial role in our work. The goal of our visitor centre is to welcome the visitors, educate them about our work and making them enthusiastic about supporting the centre. During this internship, you will learn everyting there is to know about seals and their environment! Not only are our colleagues enthusiastic in telling the visitors more, they would love to teach you as well! It is the perfect learning opportunity about seals and their habitat. And of course, you get to see these amazing animals every day. In your role at the visitor centre, you can contribute to this. Part of your function is to represent the Sealcentre and tell visitors more about us. So you immediately get the chance to further spread your freshly gained knowledge. The visitors will love to hear you tell more! Of course, the centre needs to look representative as well. Therefore, tasks such as cleaning or stocking up the shop inventory is part of your job as well.

During the period of time you're working with us, our Summer Pavillion is also opened. It's our own restaurant where visitors can sit down and enjoy a cup of coffee or a nice lunch. It might be necessary for you to come and join our colleagues here as well. There is a friendly atmosphere and you'll help visitors in having a fun day out!
