Food and drinks

The Sealcentre has its own restaurant: the Summer Pavilion. In the pavilion we mainly serve food and beverages produced in the area. Buy local, eat local!

Opening hours

Het Zomerpaviljoen is van 1 april tot en met 31 oktober van 10:00 tot 17:00 elke dag geopend. Wanneer het restaurant sluit, hebben we in het bezoekerscentrum ook een koffiemachine en een snoepautomaat voor de kleine trek.

Should I make a reservation?

It is not necessary to make a reservation. You can sit inside or outside at our restaurant. In both areas there is room where children can play while you enjoy your coffee and snack or a nice lunch. Doesn't that sound great?

Did you know...

In consultation with the Sealcentre it is possible to book the pavilion for an event. For groups of 15 or more people, we can offer a group discount of 20% on the entrance fee and the option to be seated on the terrace. It is also possible to celebrate your child's birthday party at the summer pavilion. Celebrate their birthday in a fun, unique and educational way! All group visits and booking requests can be submitted to the following email address: reserveringen@zeehondencentrum.nl.

Is the Summer Pavilion easily accessible?

Our Summer Pavilion is located at the back of our centre. This means that you first have to walk through our Wadden Garden to get there. You can reach the terrace via the shell paths. What a lovely stroll! Wheelchair users can also reach the pavilion via this route. The path is wide enough for a wheelchair or pram.
